Coolbet Open is back on 23-29 May

It has not been easy times for live poker the last couple of years and many poker events – including Coolbet Open – were cancelled. There is light at the end of the tunnel though as the coronavirus restrictions are being lifted in many countries currently.

Last week the restrictions were lifted in Estonia as well which means that we can finally reveal our plans for Coolbet Open on 23-29 May 2022.

“We unfortunately had to cancel our planned event in November shortly before the start of the event due to new restrictions being imposed. This time we feel very confident that the event will happen as the infection rates generally go down during the spring and the overall situation has improved. We are really looking forward to seeing our players again in May”, Coolbet’s Poker Manager Thomas Hviid says.

The event will – as always – be played at the Hilton Tallinn Park and Olympic Park Casino and will feature a €550 Main Event and 26 side events. The schedule is very similar to the planned event in November

“We added players’ favorites from previous events and feedback and built a schedule with many different kinds of tournaments, including special events like OFC & Eight Game”, Coolbet Open Tournament Director Teresa Nousiainen says and adds:

“We want players to have the best of poker times, in a great venue, with quality events and a fun city to travel to.”.

Satellites for Coolbet Open are already running on Coolbet.com as part of the Coolbet Passport campaign. Currently you can win a package worth €1300 which includes buy-in for the Main Event, 4 nights at the Hilton Tallinn Park and travel compensation.
